Some random thoughts about the last week:

- Green onions are not good when they've been in your fridge for two weeks. Not even when you dip them in a tomato juice/pepper/tobasco beverage.

- Teenage boys are stupid and can argue with a brick wall. I don't think boys should be allowed to be teenagers. Ever.

- Old men in Texas who dress up in Confederate costumes for an afternoon of target practice at the gun range BY THEMSELVES are kind of scary and sad. Especially when they practice with a semi-automatic assault rifle.

- Tom Welling is a hottie.

- "Forgetting" to pay your electric bill for three months and having your electricity shut off while you're in the middle of a shower is not fun, kind of embarrassing, and a supremely good deterrent to future bill paying procrastination.

- No matter HOW tasty and tempting a third serving of gin & (lime) juice might be, the next morning will find you wanting to curl up and die a quick and merciful death.
