Zack had to go to New Jersey on Wednesday. He was only supposed to be gone for the day, but he ended up spending the night & coming home yesterday. I have the coolest husband. Ever. Not only did he bring me home NYPD socks (how did you know, Z??), but this morning he got the following email from some NAI bigwig type:

"I just want send out an email with a quick update on (company). As of Thursday 11/21/02, 12:30pm (EST), (company) was in fact running the e500 in the test environment and Zack Salinas had successfully corrected the open relay issue that they were experiencing. In addition to that particular correction, Zack also made some additional changes to their configuration, along with reviewing network diagram to ensure that (company) would place the e500's in the best suited area. I cannot say enough about Zack and his professionalism. In less than 36 hours he was able to correct their issues, but also regain the client's confidence in our organization. I was fortunate enough to have dinner with him the other night, and see what a tremendous asset he is and appreciate everything that he did onsite at (company). I hope to have another opportunity to utilize him for any future issues that might require his involvement."

Of course they're pleased. Those crazy bastards are buying like a half million dollars worth of product from NAI. They were ready to cancel the order before Zack got there. That's my baby.

In other news:

I completely forgot I had a Dr. appointment yesterday and I slept right through it. Oops. I'm bummed that they're cancelling Birds of Prey. Ashley Scott is one major hottie. She dates Ashton Kutcher, who is also a major hottie. I now have blue contact lenses. They're neat. Last night I dreamed that I was in a war, but every time I got onto the battlefield I realized I had forgotten my gun at home. When I would go home to get my gun I would remember that the house was haunted and I was terrified to go inside. But in I would go. When I would step inside the room where my gun was at, every light in the house would be extinguished. This seems to be a recurring theme in my evil ghost dreams. I'm not really afraid of ghosts. I would happily live in a haunted house, especially if it had hardwood floors, a modern kitchen, and a nice amount of acreage with big trees.

You damn skippy.

Eh, ghosts can be a pain. They never leave you alone. Follow you in the bathroom and stuff. It's like little kids - they want attention all the time! :)
