Z is in New Jersey tonight. I'm watching Sleepaway Camp and drinking wine.
My excitement this evening came from watching a driver try to maneuver a big truck & trailer into our apartment complex. First of all, it's nearly impossible. Second, there are cars everywhere. Third, if someone has enough shit to fill a fucking trailer, why are they moving into an apartment? It's laughable. I went out and watched for a few minutes, but I had this insane urge to demand to park the damn thing myself. The guy who was driving it killed the truck TWICE while trying to get his trailer into a tight spot. Sure, I'm not the best person in the world with a trailer... but come on! After 20 minutes I went back into my apartment and turned up the stereo really loud so I wouldn't have to listen to the idiot guy working his air brakes every second.
Jeebus Hairy Xmas.
I had a dream last night that I was a ghost. It was refreshing.

Now, that's weird. Just a couple of days ago I watched some lost schmuck pull his loaded-down rig (flatbed trailer with lots of strapped-on goodies) down Bancroft and into the parking lot of the Old Spaghetti Factory. I didn't have the time to stay and watch, but I did see him pulverize one of those landscaped medians in the parking lot. I also think I saw some frantic restaurant staff running around.
Fun. Oh, there's an industrial complex right nearby. I think the guy when straight when he was supposed to turn left onto Moody. Whoops. And since Bancroft ends in the convoluted SpagFac parking lot... well, I'm sure the guy had lots of fun getting outta there.
