I've come to the conclusion that I do not have a cold. For the first time in my life I am suffering from that vague affliction known as "allergies." Where do these so-called "allergies" come from? Why am I just now, at the tail end of my 27th year, coming down with "them?" I'm feeling much better now that I'm out of the big city and out in the country. (My mother-in-law has a house just north of Austin, surrounded by fields full of cows and deer.) Unfortunately Mom has a REAL cold, so I may have something else to gripe about at the end of our four day vacation.
